My silent memories

I am here to tell you about my memory's of my years at Richmond school. I can't tell you how sad I am to leave but we must all move on. A couple of years ago we went on a trip to the sea on a can sail boat. One of our classmates lost her hat over board and sailed around looking for it but we never found it. Another memory was when we went to Living Springs for camp where it was nice and hot with blue skies. There was a huge hill that you could go down and at night we went in the pool it was in door pool which wasn't deep.
My best memory is the ride at the Antarctic Centre and in my picture I'm the one screaming, "HELP ME!' The ride made my stomach go up and down. Hannah and Jakita got off the ride because they were scared.
Then we took a photo of the class and then we got gathered together and went back to school.
I will miss Richmond School and all my friends here.

Richmond School Gala

Richmond Celebration Gala

On Friday 8 November Richmond School held their Gala Celebrations. We were celebrating and thanking our community for all their support over the years. On the night the gala people were giving out flowers that we had made earlier in the day. They were colourful and very realistic. The Bouncy Castle was really high it was over one and a quarter stories high. There was lots of cotton candy floss and we all got to have a turn giving out cotton candy floss. Then after that I went on the jeeps. I was trying to chase Matthew but he was too fast. Then I went on the the roller blades because cheapskates came as well.
Then I had one more turn on the bouncy castle then it was time to go home. I got a bag of of popcorn and Dad and I went home.

This term is about share

This term is about talking a lot about share and stretches the boundaries to me, friends, school, community, New Zealand then the pacific and then the world we have shared our resources by donating money to help others and VSA  is that you can dress up and because we shared others can take action by volunteering their skills in other countries we dressed up in our favourite costume and brought a gold coin for project friendship to help our friends across the pacific. We all donated generously on Red noise Day  because we have shared our resources our money  on daffodil the money we gave will go to help others to get well.   I have  felt awesome about what we did

Flick it on

Hi, this term we have all returned to school feeling happy and even though I felt a bit tired I was ready to start the term. We have been doing a " Flick it on Challenge" which is a silent movie. There were rules that we had to follow we had to show the time of the movie as 3:15 time and a magic trick and a Rubrik's Cube had to be in the movie. We went to Ferrymead, Willow Bank, our ICT room and Rooms 1 and 2 to film.
The four scenes were Early European, then European, then present and then the future scene. We chose the theme to go in the background. When we have finished we will send our movie to the north island and they will put sound in the movie and they'll send their movie to us and we will put sound in theirs. They will send ours back and we will send there's back and we will listen to it.
I can't wait to see it.

The rise of mine class

The Rise of the Mineclass.
Mine craft is a fun world where anything is possible. Everything in this virtual world is pixilised in square blocks. This means that when you look into each block you can see small squares.
In this world you can build anything from a tree hut to a bomb shelter but I have been designing and building a classroom. We took a photo of our world to do this you press the circle button at the bottom and the off button at the top. I built a class that holds up to 15 people.
I have also  made another class and it holds the same amount of people.  Then I made a science tree and it has a sign in it and it said " Your host is crazy Dr Connor" In the science tree lab there is gold,
Iron, Diamonds and up stairs students can study how these resources can be used. I connected the lab to one other class room.
In my opinion I think that mine craft is a great way to explore the world and try new things.

Richmond garden

Last Friday 16 August, my class and I went to the Richmond Fill The Gap Garden. We had to pick up rubbish  and scan the place for anything that shouldn't be there. I noticed some graffiti on the sign so Salote,Hannah and I cleaned it off.  And the class had turns wheeling the wheelbarrow.
Today I also got a friendship bracelet and we raised 62 dollars for the people over in the pacific. It was a very busy day today but a lot of fun.
