Ukulele

Yesterday we had a  concert in the library at 2:30. I was very  nervous for the last 8 weeks we have been having  ukulele lessons with Matua Paul. It has been fun doing it.
For 25 min every Friday in the library we have learned We Will Rock You, YMCA, and Don't Worry Be Happy. It was awesome and cool.  My mum was there to watch me and I was feeling nervous.
The teachers played Superman - Five for Fighting, Let It Be, I'm Yours, The Show.

Share

This term is about SHARE. Sharing stretches the boundaries for me, my friends, our school, our community, New Zealand, the Pacific and then the world. We shared our resources by donating money to help others in the VSA. We had a dress up day. We shared our money with others so others can take action by volunteering their skills in other countries. We dressed up in our favourite costume and brought a gold coin for project friendship to help our friends across the Pacific. We all donated generously on Red Nose Day and Daffodil Day we gave to help others to get well. I have  feel awesome about what we did.

Top Team Challenge

Last week we had a Top Team Challenge. Heaps of people came to our school to challenge us it was exciting. There were nine challenges, some of them were egg and spoon race, hoop toss, caterpillar race, water activities and jig saw puzzle. The house of cards was fun because it did not defeat us, it got up to 1.75meters on the metre stick  Then we moved on to the next challenge, that challenge was not hard either, you had to find where the track was on a really big mat it was blue. We were versing the red team so we had to find the track. We finished first.

My silent memories

I am here to tell you about my memory's of my years at Richmond school. I can't tell you how sad I am to leave but we must all move on. A couple of years ago we went on a trip to the sea on a can sail boat. One of our classmates lost her hat over board and sailed around looking for it but we never found it. Another memory was when we went to Living Springs for camp where it was nice and hot with blue skies. There was a huge hill that you could go down and at night we went in the pool it was in door pool which wasn't deep.
My best memory is the ride at the Antarctic Centre and in my picture I'm the one screaming, "HELP ME!' The ride made my stomach go up and down. Hannah and Jakita got off the ride because they were scared.
Then we took a photo of the class and then we got gathered together and went back to school.
I will miss Richmond School and all my friends here.
